I’m on a baking kick. Which is good, because I’ve really missed it. Correction, I’m on a late-night baking kick. Which is way more fun because at the end if it all I have the best excuse to not do the dishes…it is way too late to do dishes at 2am. 

I made a white cake with lime zest with raspberry filling and white buttercream frosting. The recipe is a hodge-podge of about five different things I got online, the best of which was a white cake recipe I found at bonappetit.com. Dear Lynne Rosetto Casper from The Splendid Table taught me that the recipes from Bon Appetit are some of the most trustworthy ones out there.

And you know I listen to advice from public radio.

I listen to too much public radio.

Is there such a thing?

I will never be cool, obvs.

(ps. Look at all the counter space I have in my kitchen. Look. At. It. !!!)
